Ground has been broken! Digging and gravel laying for the insulated concrete slab foundation, and the septic system, has started – and almost finished in one day – these guys work hard and fast! Once they had dug down to bedrock (which doesn’t take long here), several layers of increasingly fine gravel have to be layered on top to create a perfectly level surface. Only then can we start building up the foundation…
