After a night of heavy rain, window preparation continued today. But most of the afternoon was taken up with the unloading a full container load of wood fibre insulation, which arrived from Schneider-holz in Germany via the Port of Montreal.
Another, probably the last, container arrives.
It’s completely packed: thin top layer panels in front and on top; then pallets of thick base layer panels
The pallets of base layer panels only just fit into the container
First one out!
More top layer panels
The later base layer pallets have to pulled out with a chain first…
and then fork-lifted away, across what is now very soft ground..
We have 9 of these pallets (now under tarpaulins)
and lots and lots of top layer panels.
